CoDeAI Summer School Portugal

Eight students from the Münster Information Systems Bachelor’s Degree program recently took part in a seminar under the CoDeAI Project, engaging in two innovative idea contests with SMEs from Germany and Austria.

The semester culminated in a transnational digital hackathon organized by the Universidade do Minho and the CoDeAI Project. This event brought together students from Austria, Brazil, Germany, Italy, and Portugal to tackle challenges related to the digital transformation of the wine industry and wine tourism in Portugal's Vinho Verde region.

Throughout the idea contests and the hackathon, our students developed a range of ideas to help SMEs enhance their digitalization efforts, providing valuable inspiration for their daily operations.

Besides, the event was used to hold the 3rd transnational meeting for the CoDeAI Project. Prof. Dr. Ann-Kristin Cordes and Paul Kruse from our department were in good company with colleagues from partner institutions Universidad de Deusto (Spain), Universität Graz (Austria), Universidade do Minho (Portugal), and iED - Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (Greece).
