Today,  Prof. Dr. Tobias Brandt joins our institute as a Full Professor for Public Sector Digitalization.

Prof. Brandt received his Ph.D. from the University of Freiburg in Economics and Information Systems. During his Ph.D., he spent six months as a visiting researcher at the Microgrids Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Before joining us, he was an Assistant Professor at the Rotterdam School of Management at the Erasmus University in the Netherlands. His research focuses on urban data science, novel mobility solutions, and digital transformation in manufacturing. He is also a co-founder of the analytics company Geospin.
