The Karl-Vossloh foundation regularly honors innovative Ph.D. theses. In 2018, Dr. Friedrich Chasin received a price for his thesis in the area of mobility. Friedrich wrote his PhD at the Chair for Information Systems and Information Management of Professor Becker (University of Muenster) and explored in his thesis titled “Design and Development of a Sharing and Collaborative Consumption Service for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure” an innovative IT-based service that allows the integration of private charging stations into the overall charging infrastructure hence enabling a faster development of the electric mobility.

On 15. of Mai, the Chairman of the foundation Dr. Martin Vossloh officially handed the price over during the Ph.D. inauguration of the economics faculty of the University of Muenster.
