More than 8 Mio. tons of excavation waste need to be disposed at one of the biggest infrastructure projects in Europe: the construction of the train Station in Stuttgart. The challenge is the location in the centre of the City, where a lot of different requirements need to receive attention.

In a guest lecture, the concept about reverse logistics designed by Drozak Consulting was introduced by Sarah Anwander. Drozak Consulting was founded in 1997 in Berlin and has the slogan “established in Berlin – at home around the world”. They offer their service in five locations spread across three continents. Drozak Consulting is specialized in procurement and supply chain management.

Sarah Anwander explained the solution that fulfils all the given requirements and explained the construction and disposal processes in detail to the chair for Information Systems and Supply Chain Management as well as students from the Chair’s lecture Logistics Management on June 22^nd, 2017.
