Professor Dr. Rainer Böhme and the team of his IT Security Research Group transfer to the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Innsbruck in Austria effective by the start of the summer term 2015. He takes up an appointment as Professor for Security and Privacy.

We are very grateful in particular to our friends and colleagues at the Department of Information Systems and the broader School of Business and Economics as well as all staff of the University of Münster for their tremendous support over the past four years. Leaving Münster is certainly not an easy step.

Rainer Böhme and his team will stay in contact with the university and the ERCIS. Of course we keep advising ongoing and planned student projects and theses. Rainer Böhme also remains principal investigator of his research projects hostes at the University of Münster. Future collaboration in research and teaching are planned.
