RISE_BPM: Experiences from a 4-Years Horizon 2020 Researcher and Staff Exchange Project

Tuesday, 9. July 2019 - 12:00 to Thursday, 5. December 2024 - 22:35, Leonardo-Campus 18

Speaker: Armin Stein

Abstract: RISE_BPM was the first favourably evaluated project proposal submitted by the University of Münster in cooperation with ERCIS partners within the Horizon 2020 EU funding programme. The RISE_BPM project aimed at networking research institutions and corporate innovators to develop new ideas for Business Process Management (BPM). The project consortium, besides the University of Münster as the coordinator, included partners from Australia, South Korea, Brazil, Austria, Spain, the Netherlands, and Liechtenstein.

In his talk, Armin will present the project setup, key outcomes, but - even more important - also experiences and insights from the coordinator's perspective.

Short Bio: Armin Stein is Managing Director of the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS). He received his PhD from the University of Münster in 2010, and since then coordinates the network with the ERCIS team. Furthermore, he coordinates with the support of colleagues the ERASMUS+ project TextIS (Text Mining for Curriculum Design for Multiple Information Systems Disciplines). For the little time left for research, Armin is interested in BPM, Diversity in IS, and IS education.
