He brings together these fields in the notion of "City 5.0", an utopia of a liveable and restriction free city.

Talk abstractAs citizens, our access to goods and services is restricted. Some services are not affordable; others are not available in specific areas or during specific times. Public services are subject to these restrictions as much as goods and services in the private sector. Digital technologies can help in overcoming restrictions as well as in shifting goods and services from the private into the public domain. For instance, a free public live screening of an opera performance that is usually restricted to a limited number of rather wealthy citizens is a new form of public services delivered in a new way. In this talk, I will capture the notion of City 5.0 - a liveable city, in which the potential of digital technologies is utilized in order to eliminate citizens’ restrictions in consuming public goods and services and by that creating new goods and services or delivering them in a restriction-free manner.
