Dr. Raimund Vogl appointed Honorary Professor

The School of Business and Economics has appointed Dr. rer. nat. Raimund Vogl as Honorary Professor, recognizing his contributions to teaching in the field of Project Management. The certificate of appointment was presented by Dean Prof. Dr. Thomas Langer, who warmly congratulated Dr. Vogl and particularly highlighted the high level of practical relevance in his lectures. Dr. Raimund Vogl has been the Head of the Center for Information Technology (CIT) at the University of Münster since 2007 and was appointed CIO of the University of Münster in 2017. Since the summer semester of 2019, he has been delivering the lecture "Project Management," which is part of the fourth semester curriculum of the Bachelor’s program in Information Systems. Due to his extensive experience, Dr. Vogl can excellently convey the success factors of Project Management beyond mere theory. Dr. Vogl also demonstrates outstanding dedication in supervising theses, publishing scholarly articles, and securing research projects, for which Dean Prof. Langer expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the faculty.
