On 24 October 2023, for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, an excursion took place as part of the "Introduction to Information Systems" lecture. At BASF in Münster-Hiltrup, almost 200 first-semester students gained an in-depth impression of the diverse opportunities for business IT specialists in a large, internationally operating company. The students were able to choose freely between presentations on topics such as the use of AI, agile working methods or process management in paint production.
