Speaker: Prof. Marleen Huysman

Abstract: Marleen Huysman will present her latest research grant on GenAI@Work; studying the impacts of generative AI on Knowledge work, Management and Organizations. She will provide some early research findings including the research on GenAI among graphic designers, and the consortium’s focus on the ripple effect of GenAI’s use for the organizational social fabric.

Short Bio: Marleen Huysman is founding director of the KIN Center for Digital Innovation, at the School of Business and Economics of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where she presently heads the AI@Work research group. In recent years her teaching and research is focusing on knowledge work practices and artificial intelligence. Her qualitative research studies have been published in books and in the major IS and Management & Organization journals.
