1st Workshop „Adoption of Social Media & Mobile Services in Enterprises“ at AINA 2013

The 27th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA-2013)

In recent years social media concepts attracted millions of users. Based on their approach to enable participants to create user generated content, huge amounts of data were gathered on social media platforms. Typical classes of social media are wikis, blogs, discussion forums, but also newer platforms such as social network sites (SNS) (e.g. Facebook, Google+), microblogging (e.g. Twitter) or content sharing communities (e.g. YouTube, Flickr). Additionally, social business platform (e.g. Yammer, Lotus Connections, Jive) were created, which integrate several of these functionalities and may be set up as internal collaboration instruments in enterprises.
