Final presentation in the project seminar “Retrieval Augmented Generation at the City of Krefeld“

The project seminar ‘Retrieval Augmented Generation at the City of Krefeld’ ends with the presentation of the results of all seven students. 

The goal of the project seminar, which focused on the integration of documents from the decentralised and separate wikis and the transfer of the intranet into an AI-supported knowledge management system using the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system, was achieved. From now on, contextualised answers will be possible and internal data sources of the city of Krefeld will be used that are not available to public GenAI models.

AIS welcomes the new cohort of AIS Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship

Each year, the Assocciation for Information Systems (AIS) selects six international doctoral students to receive the AIS Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship. We are delighted to announce that Shariga Sivanathan, PhD student and staff member at Prof. Tobias Brandt's Chair of Digital Innovation and the Public Sector, has been named one of the Entrepreneurial Innovation Fellowship Students for 2025.

WI 2024

The 19th International Conference on Information Systems took place at the University of Würzburg from September 16 to 19 this year. The conference is the most important event in Information Systems in the German-speaking world and offers scientists, entrepreneurs, and young professionals the opportunity to learn about current research and enables an exchange between research and practice.
