Thomas Haskamp is an Assistant Professor at the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS), located at the University of Muenster in Germany. He also serves as a Research Fellow at MIT's Center for Information Systems Research in Cambridge, Boston, United States, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Hasso Plattner Institute, situated at the University of Potsdam in Germany.

Thomas's research is primarily focused on unraveling the dynamics of digital innovation across various contexts, including start-ups and traditional industrial firms. Additionally, he is deeply passionate about research concerning digital sustainability. His work has been published in academic peer-reviewed outlets such as ICIS, ECIS, HICSS, WI and BISE as well as practitioner-oriented publications like MIT CISR Research Briefings.
