Thomas Haskamp is Assistant Professor at the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) at the University of Münster, Germany. He is also an Academic Research Fellow at MIT's Center for Information Systems Research in Cambridge, Boston, USA, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Hasso Plattner Institute at the University of Potsdam in Germany.

Thomas' research focuses primarily on unraveling the dynamics of digital innovation in different contexts, including start-ups and traditional industrial firms. In addition, he has a strong passion for research on digital sustainability. His work has been published in academic peer-reviewed journals such as ICIS, ECIS, HICSS, WI, and BISE, as well as practitioner-oriented publications such as MIT CISR Research Briefings.
