Am 5. März 2026 findet die Women's* Empowerment Convention (W*EC) im GEO 1 der Universität Münster statt. Bereits zum vierten Mal bietet die Veranstaltung Raum für Austausch, neue Perspektiven und Begegnungen mit spannenden Menschen aus Hochschule, Wirtschaft und Gründungsszene.

Das Programm 2026 umfasst unter anderem:

* Keynote von Johanna Baare „From Vision to Scale: Warum Wachstum Vielfalt braucht“,

* ein spannendes und vielfältiges Workshopangebot, darunter auch englischsprachige Workshops,

* Impulsvorträge zu Gründung, Karriere und Finanzen,

* sowie ein kreatives, aktives Vernetzungs- und Austauschformat am Abend.

Die W*EC bringt Menschen aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen zusammen, die sich für eine gleichberechtigte Gesellschaft im Kontext von Gründung und Beruf einsetzen. Unter dem Motto „Let’s grow together“ schafft sie Räume für gemeinschaftliches Lernen, gegenseitiges Empowerment und den Aufbau einer unterstützenden Community, in der Wissen geteilt und neue Impulse gesetzt werden. Alle sind herzlich willkommen!

Für alle Vorträge wird ein Übersetzungstool angeboten. Einige Workshops finden außerdem vollständig auf Englisch statt, um internationalen Teilnehmenden die aktive Partizipation vor Ort zu ermöglichen.

Die Veranstaltung wird im Hochschulverbund der Universität Münster und der FH Münster unter dem Dach des REACH – EUREGIO Start-up Centers organisiert und in Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen und überregionalen Organisationen durchgeführt.

On March 5, 2026 the Women's* Empowerment Convention (W*EC) will take place at the GEO1, University Münster. For the fourth time, the event will provide a space for exchange, new perspectives, and encounters with inspiring people from academia, business, and the startup scene.

The 2026 program includes, among others:

* Keynote by Johanna Baare: “From Vision to Scale: Why Growth Needs Diversity”,

* a varied and engaging workshop program, including English-language workshops,

* impulse lectures on entrepreneurship, career, and finance,

* and in the evening, a creative, interactive networking and exchange format.

The W*EC brings together people from different fields who are committed to a more equal society in the context of entrepreneurship and professional life. Under the motto “Let’s grow together”, it creates spaces for collaborative learning, mutual empowerment, and the development of a supportive community, where knowledge is shared and new impulses are generated. Everyone is warmly welcome.

A translation tool will be available for the lectures. In addition, some workshops will be conducted entirely in English, allowing international participants to actively join.

The event is organised by the University of Münster and the FH Münster University of Applied Sciences under the roof of the REACH – EUREGIO Start-up Centre and is realized in cooperation with regional and supra-regional organizations.
