Junior professorship for Cyber Security (Prof. Hupperich)

IT security is brilliantly versatile. The advancing digitization leads to a greater spread of highly diverse computer systems. At the same time, information is provided by collecting and storing a lot of data. If these are particularly valuable, they represent a worthwhile target for attacks. In contrast to safety, IT security in the sense of security is dedicated to scenarios with a human, offensive force.
The group's research focus is on user-centric IT security. This combines the disciplines of systems security and data security in relation to computer systems with human interaction. The security of artificial intelligence and networked systems presents particular challenges here.
