Bring-your-own-device (BYOD) is getting more and more important in companies. However, it is questionable if controlling the devices and tools the employees use will lead to productivity and satisfaction within the organizations. It may be that trusting employees with respect to device and software usage actually yields better output. This thesis aims at exploring the relationship between trust and control in the context of BYOD.
