Consent Cookies are used to store user choices about further cookies, e.g., for analytics and user tracking. With the GDPR (DSGVO) the user needs to give consent to all those cookies not necessary to a website's function.

This thesis should investigate the mitigation and migratability of consent cookies and their popups on websites. Implementing a browser extension to help users with these choices in the frontend and to analyze consent cookie behavior in the backend is the core of this work.
