ChangeHER -- Ein Prozessmodellbasiertes Change Management-System für Hochschulverwaltungen

vom Brocke J

Abstract

The administration of higher education becomes a management of change. Process models, that are build by the employees themselves can help to control this challenge. To do so one needs a methodology, that is effective and easy to use at the same time. Using a special cooperation model it can be introduced throughout the whole organization and support a {\glqq}lifelong'' learning process. Such an approach has been developed at the Department of Information Systems, Chair of Information Management and Controlling at the University of Muenster in Germany. It has actually been initiated at the administation organ of the University of Muenster as a reference project. Increasingly more universities are interested in this approach and plan to introduce it, too. This paper describes the underlying conceptual, methodological and organizational framework of this approach: first in general and then by showing an example of the reference project in Muenster.
