Together with the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS), the Department of Communication (IfK) is organising this year's international MISDOOM conference from September 2^nd to 4^th 2024. The interdisciplinary conference not only combines communication and computer science perspectives, but also offers practitioners, e.g. from the fields of journalism and fact-checking, as well as experts from the private sector a platform for networking. For the first time, the conference will also include a workshop for doctoral students, where doctoral projects will be presented in small groups and discussed with experienced mentors.
