The Department of Information Systems at the University of Münster is looking for a suitable candidate for a
Deputy Professorship (W2) in Information Systems & Software Engineering
to start on 1 October 2024 or as soon as possible. The replacement will initially be for one year. We are particularly looking for young academics in the field of computer science/business informatics.
The teaching obligation is 8 SWS. The content of the teaching is focused on applied computer science/software engineering and covers topics such as software engineering, requirements engineering, model-based software development, agile development methods including continuous delivery or trust and security. In addition to attending basic lectures, candidates are also expected to offer one seminar/elective module per semester.
The selection process is streamlined. The selection is made on the basis of the application documents (motivation, CV, list of publications, overview of courses held including evaluations) and a personal interview shortly after the application deadline (by 15 August 2024).
