Beschreibung

Supply chain integration (SCI) can be defined as ”the degree to which a manufacturer strategically collaborates with its supply chain partners and collaboratively manages intra- and inter-organisation processes” (Flynn et al., 2010, p. 59). It is considered an essential factor for successful supply chain management. In this course, you will get to know different SCI practices, which can be applied for a successful integration within the firm as well as with suppliers and customers.

Registration

The course will be held in English and will be given by Prof. Felipe Scavarda, a guest professor at the University of Muenster. The course is limited to 28 students. If you are interested in getting one spot, you need to register directly at the chair.

https://www.wi.uni-muenster.de/registration-supply-chain-integration-practices

The registration is open until 19th March 2023.

Please note: With a registration, you only applied for a spot, i.e., you mandatorily indicated your interest for a spot! If more than 28 students register for the course, there will be a lottery. This implies that there will be no following of any rules such as first-come-first-serve or similar!

Course Structure

The course will be structured in two phases. First, within a pre-assignment, students will have to work in certain topics in groups before the lectures will start, commencing the second phase. Within the lecturing phase, lectures are given and presentations of the insights gained from the group works by the students are foreseen. Additionally, work on a case study will be carried out.

The pre-assignment phase is planned to start with a kick-off meeting in April (exact date will be announced soon). The lectures and group presentations will take place in May (8th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 15th).

More information on the course content and the course structure will be provided very soon!
