On Wednesday, 7th December 2016, the final of the 9th ERCIS Launch Pad, the annual IT business ideas competition of the European Research Center for Information Systems, takes place. Out of a once again high number of submitted business ideas, a top-class jury of former entrepreneurs, academics, and investors selected finalists, who receive the chance to pitch their ideas in 10 minutes during the Launch Pad event on Wednesday.

The final event at the Leonardo-Campus begins at 10:00 AM with two keynotes. First speaker will be André Henning, coach of the hockey team of Rot-Weiss Köln. He is followed by Markus Sudhoff from tapdo, winner of the Innovation Prize of last year’s Launch Pad, who details their experiences of the past year. After that, the finalists pitch their ideas until ca. 4:00 PM.

The winners of this year’s attractive prizes and cash with a combined worth of more than 10.000 euro will be announced within a networking event at the Nippes on Warendorfer Str., starting at 7:30 PM. Here, one can meet up with the finalists, other founders, and the jury.
