With this course, we aim to offer our students taking the Bachelor in Information Systems an insight into academic work to prepare them for writing their Bachelor thesis. The following topics and more are covered in the one-day block seminar:

•     Formal criteria, collection procedure

•     Expression and style

•     Structure

•     Researching and using academic literature

•     Managing your project and your time

The focus of the course is not only on projects based purely on research literature, but also on structuring other kinds of projects such as implementation and empirical work. The course is offered at irregular intervals, around once each semester. The dates will be published on the programme coordinators blog and through Learnweb.
