Objectives

The lecture concentrates on interorganizational systems and business networks, aiming to explore the contingencies and strategies that lie behind the evolution of IOS, networking and new e-commerce business cases.
Drawing on case examples as well as theoretical concepts, the configuration and management of networks as well as the design and implications of IOS will be discussed from various perspectives, such as strategic management, organization theory, information management and IS development.

Final exam 

 top

There will be two mandantory, one-hour exams during the course of the semester. These will be written, in-class exams containing a mix of objective and essay questions on course reading, discussions, and lectures. The written exams will be comprehensive in scope, and will require you to integrate material from different portions of the course.

Exam schedule:
  • First exam: Wednesday, 08.06.2005, 12:15, F1
  • Second exam: Wednesday, 20.07.2005, 12:15, F1

The course grade will be based on the written exams only. It will be assigned from the total of points achieved in the two exams. Each written exam will be weighted equally.
