The skiing seminar will take place as a block course in a mountain hut ("Zaferna") in the Austrian Alps.

Conceptional, Graphic, Methodical and Technical Aspects of Distributed Modelling
Beschreibung
Topic
The goal of the seminar is to understand and solve problems that occur in distributed modelling projects, e.g.:
Conceptual aspects:
- Special modelling languages supporting distributed modelling
- Model analysis approaches
Representational aspects
- How can modellers be supported by special GUIs?
- Is a "modelling desktop" always feasible?
- When to use what GUI?
Methodical aspects
- Procedure models for distributed modelling
- Problem solving techniques ("everything-that-is-not-modelling-language")
Technical aspects
- What functionality must distributed modelling tools provide?
Audience
The seminar can be taken by
- Bachelor students as a part of a specialisation module
- Master students as the "seminar" part of the seminar module
- and Diploma students in the subjects "IS", "PI", "Inf", "EL", "BWL für WI", and "WI für BWL/VWL"
